How to CLEP college

How to CLEP college?

Well, that's a big question with a long complicated answer. We tell you the long version of how to CLEP college on our FAQ Page.

But the short answer is pretty easy. First, find out if your school accepts credit and if you need the type of credit that you can test out of. It doesn't make sense to study for the College Algebra CLEP if you only need Biology credit.

Choose your test and purchase your study guide - hopefully one of ours with a money back guarantee!

STUDY!

Take the test - when you've passed you'll have scored 3-6 college credits. That's a lot easier than sitting in a class all semester. Taking a CLEP test is a lot easier than you think. It just takes some time and determination. Once you pass your first test, you'll feel confident and want to take another and another. It's great to save so much time and money.

Can you test out of an entire degree? At an accredited school, that's unlikely. Some online schools will let you test out of 30 credit hours, but that seems to be on the higher end of the scale. Your local state college or community college may limit you to 15 credit hours of credit earned through testing. But that's still saving a semester or more in time and tuition.
